Furious Folds- Lucky Stars!

What's small, cute, and easy to make? Lucky stars of course! These are amazingly easy to make once you get the hang of it, and there are tons of fun papers you can print out online! Learn how to make these beautiful stars here.

Furious Folds- Brocade

This is the Japanese Brocade fold. It looks a lot like a ball, but it is actually a cube. This is an example of modular origami, or origami that has many parts that are made the same way. I was lucky to find a tutorial on how to make this here. Don't worry, it's a lot easier than it looks! Please comment if you see this post or try to make this!

New Segment- Furious Folds!!

He is a man by day, he is a cat by night. He's... CAT MAN!!! While I was at camp, I met Cat Man. I made a likeness of him in origami, and now I present him to you, viewers of this site. Cat Man.

P.S. Furious Folds is a new segment in which I show to you my hobby of making origami. I will include the instructions if I can find them on an online site.

Book Blog? Interesting....

OK, I've seen all these blogs with teens writing books, and I am writing a few of my own, so I will periodically share things about them. Oh, if you read this , please comment. I am trying to figure out how many people (other than me) read my blog. My going on my blog every now and then without being logged in is messing up my view of how many people go on.

SNOW FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

To get in the snow day spirit, try this fun activity!

Tree Snow

Materials needed:
-a twig, preferably long
-a tree loaded with fluffy snow (evergreens work best)

Procedure:
1. Pick up twig. Find snow-loaded tree and stand underneath a snow-covered branch that is taller than you but can be touched by your twig if you hold it in the air.
2. While standing underneath branch, repeatedly whack it with twig.
3. Snow should fall off the branch onto you. Enjoy!
